We undertake many major renovations and refurbishments often on listed buildings or those of a sensitive nature in conservation or protected areas, we like to think that local authorities see New & Tilley as a professional builder that looks to contribute positively to the build environment in Gloucestershire.
A recent project was a £1m refurbishment of an 1860s stone Villa in Douro Road Cheltenham that received a civic award – see the project here in our portfolio gallery.
The project finished on time and did not exceed the Budget. The process was painless for us, we were kept informed every step of the way, and consulted regularly about any changes. The building site was kept tidy, the team were very polite, respectful, jolly and efficient. The workmanship was top quality and we are delighted with the result.
New & Tilley have now undertaken 2 major renovations for us (1890s town house and 1860 stone Villa) plus a contemporary 8000 sq ft new build over the past 15 years. During all of those projects they have not only completed the projects to a very high standard and to budget but have also made a major contribution to the overall result. Always looking for cost effective options that don’t impact the end result they are pleasure to work with. Incredibly high standards down to the site at the end of each day being immaculate. Over the years we have recommended them many times and every time they have delivered.
